Software Engineer - Remote (SU)

Job Summary

This position will complete software development work associated with Sentinel U's product and platform. Working on the creation, upgrading, and maintenance of software products. Will report to the Director of Engineering Services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use Jira to update progress on tickets and communicate with the team about development updates.
• Estimating work items so that work can be properly scheduled.
• Coordinate changes with the rest to the Engineering team to ensure timely deployment.
• Update and provide documentation as needed during and after development.
• Develop products using the preferred software skills.
• Keep up to date with current development frameworks and new software as applicable.

Required

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Working knowledge of Jira, including creating and updating work items using Agile methodology.
