All engineers are expected to exhibit and promote a high degree of excellence in the following areas:

Designing / giving functional and technical direction to a solution

TDD/BDD, clean code, software craftsmanship

Testing at all levels (unit, integration, UI and acceptance)

Refactoring to enhance testability and re-usability

Static analysis tool

Continuous delivery and integration



Story Writing and tasking

Training / coaching

You will also be expected to:

Integrate closely w/ colleagues in Portland and San Jose

Evangelize, mentor, and promote mobile development standard methodologies throughout the company

Communicate effectively within your team and across teams.

Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation

What we are looking for in you:

8+ Years of software design and development experience working on a team

4+ years of experience generating commercial quality iOS applications using Swift, Objective C, and Cocoa - please provide links to published apps

Deep webservice & API experience

Comfortable with rapid development cycles, tight schedules, tight integration with QA and product management

Deep understanding of design patterns, and experience working in a layered architecture.

Strong work ethic – someone who takes phenomenal pride in professionalism, responsibility, and being dedicated.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Any experience in programming other types of mobile devices like Android, Windows etc.

Ability to work independently and the confidence to question where necessary.
