Our software engineers are smart and quick, able to work in teams across our technology stack throughout the full product lifecycle and develop new features. Their work enables customers to succeed by helping them better manage their IT assets to drive efficiency and deliver value

What our engineers do:

· Actively participate in an agile software development lifecycle, decomposing requirements, documenting and discussing the design, estimation and implementation

· Design, implement and run cloud-based microservices written in Go and C#

· Develop rapid prototypes and participate in pair programming

· Generate architecture recommendations, interact with customers, understand use cases and propose solutions

· Work in an environment focused on continuous delivery and continuous integration

· Constantly improve product quality, security and performance.

· Use and learn the latest deployment and monitoring tools, including Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus and AWS X-Ray

· Contribute to the knowledge base, wiki and other Flexera resources to help build the best customer experience

· Work with and learn from highly skilled engineers who have built an industry leading product set

What you bring:

· Love to learn new technologies and ways of doing things

· Ship code fast to the delight of customers

· Experience in delivering an agile environment and understand how to maximize results from sprints, releases and road maps

· Keep up with industry trends, enjoy teaching yourself new technology, and enjoy talking about different technical problems and their solutions

· Courage to debate with colleagues and drive out the best solution for the organization, not just your solution

· A good understanding of software design, performance and scale

· Experience understanding architectural concepts like Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing and patterns like CQRS

· 3-5 years developing multi-tier software applications

· Passion about microservice architectures

· Fluent with at least one mainstream programming language, such as C++, C#, Java, Go, Python or Javascript

· A solid understanding of AWS and hands-on experience with it
