Responsibilities: 1. Build and operate large-scale data infrastructure programs (performance, reliability, monitoring) 2. Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code 3. Build and operate workflow management system 4. Bringing open source software to production at scale (Airflow, Yarn, HDFS, Spark, ZooKeeper) 5. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge, including Open-Source projects Requirement: 1. BS, MS or PhD in CS, or equivalent real-world experience 2. Experience with workflow management (Airflow, Azkaban, UC4) 3. Experience designing, implementing and debugging distributed systems that run across multiple nodes 4. Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem - Yarn, HDFS, Spark, Presto, Parquet 5. Experience working with and building real-time compute and streaming infrastructure - Kafka, Kinesis, etc 6. Experience programming with Java, Python, C++, or similar
