Job Description

This position is on CloudSuite Portal development team. The developer in this position will be responsible for building automation for provisioning Infor applications on AWS. Components are developed using primarily Infor Mongoose, .Net and AWS technology. Candidate should have good programming, analytical and debugging skills, and will be able to work well both in a team environment and independently.

Pursuant to government requirements tied to FedRAMP, this specific position requires US Citizenship or Perm Resident status.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Should have a strong understanding of OOC, and practical experience applying it.
Write server-side code for web-based applications, and good exposure to UI design & development.
Follow best coding standards; write optimized and highly performing code.
Ability to break down the tasks, provide programming estimates and tracking the progress.
Analyze and debug the product issues.
Assist other developers, QA with product issues and usage of developed components.
Participate in reviews of technical design, code, test cases and other artifacts.
Willingness to take-up time-critical tasks and provide a consistent update on the progress.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree from Computer Science.
Having 0-2 years of work experience in software development
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts (OOC).
Experience with any Object-Oriented Programming Language (Java, C#, etc.)
Exposure to RESTful web services, XML, JSON, Batch, and Shell scripting.
Good analytical skills.
Good understanding of SQL.
Good understanding of various concepts of testing.
Should be able to write test cases, and efficiently organizing of test cases under different categories.
Understanding of defect tracking system and change control procedures.

What Will Put You Ahead?

Hands on experience with UNIX operating system is preferred.
Exposure in web-based application architecture is an advantage.
Exposure working with AWS services is an advantage.
