Work with team as a subject matter expert (SME) through support issues quickly and efficiently. Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled, and perform after-hours support as needed. Participate as a SME on support conference calls. Categorize support problems and respond with the appropriate level of urgency. Function as the second level support in after-hours calls as the support expert for their platform of mastery. Assist others in the business processes implemented in the team’s applications in order to provide resolution to support problems, and concerning best practices and design patterns. Deliver on established individual velocity and team goals. Stay abreast of new technical trends in related technologies. Estimate the time required for related technical efforts for projects of all sizes and deliver multiple complete solutions as well as estimated and actual costs. Build, design, and analyze simultaneous applications of any size throughout their application environment. Develop user requirements and generate technical specifications for all applications within their application environment. Engage in critical support situations and effectively, efficiently and quickly drive to a successful resolution. Leverage existing software, develop reusable components, and eliminate redundancy in designs throughout their application environment. Build, design, and execute unite tests to ensure the ultimate level of excellence. Ensure code is compliant with security standards. Design and execute performance tests. Design end-to-end systems from the top to the bottom of the stack. Design and Deploy complex SQL objects and relational databasedesign. Understand all the business processes implemented in the team’s applications and consistently keep business objectives in focus. Understand and document business requirements as well as provide a proposal of the appropriate solution. Participate in and assist with facilitating customer/project meetings for highly complex project definitions, needs assessments, and design reviews.
Required Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation with: Delivering SOA/Middleware integration projects; TIBCO Business Works 5.x or 6.x; TIBCO EMS; TIBCO Hawk; Relational databases; SOAP; JMS; SOA development; XML Concepts, frameworks, and standards.
