Software Engineer - AI/Machine Learning at VanHack in Vancouver, BC

A company located in Vancouver is looking forward to hire a Software Engineer (Machine Learning) to their team! The new employee will start remotely and can be relocated to Vancouver at a later time (TBD).

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, other related field or practical experience;
• Over 5 years working as a fullstack software developer;
• Over 5 years of practical knowledge developing Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning features and applications in the SaaS software;
• Experience with Python;
• Knowledge in one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing, pattern recognition, text understanding, recommendation systems, classification, targeting systems, ranking systems.

Bonus qualifications:

• MS or Ph.D. degree in a technical field;
• Knowledge of Google Cloud products and architecture;
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Apache Beam, Spark, Tensorflow, Keras;
• Experience in working with Html, CSS, Javascript (using frameworks such as React.js and/or Vue.js), SQL;
• Deep knowlegde of Python.
