ACI Worldwide Corp. is looking to fill one Software Engineer position to be based out of its Elkhorn, Nebraska office. The position is responsible for the following: Develop a payment platform to integrate various ACI Worldwide products, including BASE24, by using APIs and Service oriented architecture.
Conduct extensive testing of each functionality developed on the platform to ensure high quality of the solution / service / product is delivered to the customer. Develop and test applications / components with clear understanding of payment processing requirements and payment switching knowledge. Analyze and fix bugs on the existing framework used for development of web application.
Work with Product owners, Subject matter experts, Architects and Leads to understand the business and technical requirements and convert these requirements into achievable tasks completing those in timely manner. Specific duties of the position include the following: Develop and design web pages, screens and entities using a framework which is developed by ACI Worldwide. Work on server?side and front?end customization of underlying framework using core Java, Spring Angular JS ultimately making the web application user centric. Analyze and resolve complex technical problems/bug on the framework. Isolate and correct complex problems at a subsystem level. Code business services for components on a payment platform using C++.
Understand functionality of these services, create test scripts/plans, and perform extensive unit testing and component integration testing. Configure financial and non financial transactions on payment processing systems and also integrate multiple ACI Worldwide products for these transactions as per the business needs of the customer. Take initiative to routinely apply new approaches/techniques to improve usability and quality of product. Use a unit testing framework which is built using internal product to automate unit testing. Customize unit testing framework. While testing, use appropriate data which follows business rules associated with backend products. Learn and understand the platform being developed which integrates multiple ACI Worldwide products and anticipate solutions for the customer which results in better products and services. Write and execute detailed test scripts to test the functionality of the proposed system. Install and manage test networks. Work with product owners to fully understand business needs and anticipate requirements which results in including those requirements to the product roadmap. Co?ordinate with various internal teams and work towards creating innovation solutions. Understand and adhere to coding standards for each product. Create and review assigned product / project deliverables like Impact assessments documents, external and internal specifications, code manuals, education material, installation guides, etc. May require domestic and international travel normal to the occupation up to 10% of the time, dependent upon customer requirements. Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science or a related field and three years’ experiencerequired. Experience must include the following: Three years’ experience in the payments switch and electronic payments domain; Three years’ experience implementing projects, customizing and testing BASE24 classic or like payments application directly on customers network (On?premise installation); Three years’ experience configuring financial and non?financial transactions on payment switch (i.e., BASE24 classic installed on NSK/NSKi platform); Three years’ experience customizing multiple BASE24 Classic or like payments application Interchange Interfaces (i.e., Banknet, VISA, HISO93, HISO87, MasterCard etc.); Three years’ experienceworking with payments application simulators like Mastercard authorization simulator, Mastercard debit simulator, MasterCard Clearing presentment simulator or Visa Test System (VTS); Three years’ experience testing or certifying ATM machines from various vendors like Wincor, NCR, Diebold and Hitachi; Three years’ experience working on enscribe or like payments application database; Three years’ experience of understanding and debugging the code using debugger tool called or like Native inspect; Three years’ experience using XPNET or a like a message queuing application to install, operate and maintain test/production environment; Three years’ experiencesupporting L1 and L2 teams to analyze any operational issues in a certification or production environment; Two years’ experience with Transaction Security models (Atalla, Thales) in relation to BASE24 Classic or like payments application; and Six months’ experience of EMV certification of POS terminals for a customer.
