As a shared team within the Microsoft Office Division, UCI ships features in a wide range of products. Our code is shipped in the Office Desktop, universal, Office webapps/online, Outlook, SharePoint. We frequently partner with teams outside of Office (such as Bing) in order to leverage the latest search/NLP technologies and other data sources.
You will be responsible for building game-changing components and user interfaces that will potentially redefine productivity and smart assistance across a wide range of Office products. Additionally, you would work on service endpoints that power user experiences across a number of platforms (Windows10 apps, iOS, Android). Finally, you’ll get the chance to work in multiple challenging codebases and be given the opportunity to implement exciting new features.
5+ years of software development experience in the commercial software industry
BS in Computer Science or Engineer or equivalent industry experience
Experience with Agile development methodologies, experimentation, services orient development model, data informed development
Undergraduate courses in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, data mining, or information retrieval
Experienceworking with Azure, SharePoint, or FAST Search APIs
