Software Development Test Engineer
The Charleston Digital Hub of Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Development Test Engineer in the Charleston, SC area.

What You’ll Do:
The Navy Electronic Procurement System will provide a procure-to-pay contract writing system utilizing a cloud computing architecture and will assist the government by writing test plans and procedures.
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to develop use and test cases, author test plans and procedures and assist in the development of the requirements traceability matrix in the IBM Jazz tool suite. This role will also interact frequently with the government lead at PMW 220 as well as local leadership at SSC Atlantic. In addition to the deliverables, the individual will be responsible for ad hoc data calls, attending meetings and performing detailed work planning with their government lead.
What You Need:
-Previous testing experience in hands-on test case development and execution
-Experience overseeing software testing activities including requirements review, development, execution of test plans and evaluation
-Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) (requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance)
-Experience eliciting, reviewing, evaluating business and technical requirements
-Knowledge of various levels of testing (unit, integration, system, performance, acceptance)
-Ability to think logically and analytically, identify biases and maintain open and fair testing and evaluation
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to learn and understand complex business processes and identify solutions and impediments
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical sciences
What Would be Nice:
-Hands-on experience in test management, oversight and execution of complex business test plans
-Knowledge of TMBOK (Test management body of knowledge) that includes: test process management, project management, process measurement and improvement, organization management, risk management, automation strategies, software QA
-Ability to manage test teams and oversee large testing efforts to include LOE estimation Education
-BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering Certification
-Software testing certifications such as IIST’s CTSP certification, ISTQB Foundation level certification or Quality Assurance Institute
-Any training or certification in ITIL
