Responsibilities:

Principal is looking for someone to join our Productivity Team within the DevOps Organization of Retirement and Income Solutions (RIS).  Our team’s goal is to reduce release cycle times, improve release outcomes, and provide common capabilities for all developers.  Specifically, our team provides direction and implementation of:

  • Application Build and Deployment Pipelines
  • RIS Common Code
  • Metrics on our Application Development Process
  • Framework and Solutions (Automation & Culture) to Improve the Efficiency of our Development Process

You will be working with a highly collaborative Kanban team designing and implementing solutions to increase the “Productivity” of our fellowScrum teams in RIS.  We have a strong environment of mentoring, collaboration and teamwork on our team.  We value traits such as being able to embrace changing priorities, having a passion for variety in your work, being technically curious to advance your skillset, and thriving in a changing environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of application development experience
  • Professional experience with Core Java and Web Development
  • Experience with Maven and Git
  • Exposure to Agile/Kanban

Additional preferred technical experience (any experience would be a plus):

  • Spring Framework
  • Software Security
  • Test Automation (JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, etc...)
  • Continuous Integration Experience – Jenkins
  • Deployment & Release Tooling (Urban Code, Xebia Labs)
  • ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana
  • Linux & Windows Servers
  • DatabaseExperience (DB2, MySQL, MongoDB, etc…)
  • Server Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet)
  • All things Software Development Lifecycle!
