Utilize knowledge of server-side Java programming and design, definition of complex software systems, and comprehension of web technology stacks to perform the following duties: design and develop/engineer software solutions for complex business problems to build/engineer highly maintainable, scalable and reliable B2B (Business to Business) software platforms; apply understanding of business domain and work with business process personnel to develop/engineer long and short term technical software vision; utilize appropriate tools and follow specifications to design and code applications; maintain and modify existing applications, as necessary; ensure software architectural consistency across multiple software solutions while assuming responsibility for ongoing data architecture for solutions; establish and drive best practices in software engineering, including coding standards; assist with delivery for functional and non-functional software requirements, including performance, scalability, availability, reliability and security; act as an escalation point for the software development/engineering and QA teams to assist with the resolution of technical or design issues; continue to research and adopt new software technologies to evolve our products; and participate in the development/engineering and implementation of automated software test suites.
Minimum education and experience required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Information Systems plus 5 years of experience in Information Technology Software Positions with experience in the following skills and technologies:
