Key Qualifications
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. HDMI Device driver development; 2. DisplayPort device driver development; 3. Create a methodology to manage display resource allocation; 4. Perform display bring up on new silicon chips; and 5. Work with the display silicon design team.
Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California. Maintain and develop device drivers for display technologies. Work closely with multiple cross-functional teams. Develop new features, debug issues found by customers and QA, schematic and code reviews, bring up new hardware and ensuring smooth interoperability. Work closely with the firmware teams to ensure standards-compliant interfacing and help debug SW/FW/HW issues. Develop and debug software in support of internal displays across the entire Apple product roadmap. Develop and debug software in support of external display use across relevant Apple products. Set up logic and protocol analyzers to assist in debugging and root causes due to SW or HW problems. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170700 - $256500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
