Job Description:

Bank of America is looking for a qualified individual to contribute to software development activities within the Global Banking line of business.  The role requires hands on software development, configuration of vendor solutions, and collaboration with business, operations, & technology partners. The individual selected to assume this role will be expected to develop subject matter expertise of the GBAM Fraud detection platform, comprised of a large scale vendor product and an Enterprise Mulesoft implementation.  He or she will contribute to design efforts, helping define and deliver the technology strategy for the Global Banking fraud capabilities.  He or she will also be expected to master payment data orchestration flows, and work closely with otherdevelopers, QA resources, production support leads, and architects.  He or she will work closely with fraud product partners, operational partners, and software vendors to hone business requirements.  A focused approach to achieving the business goals related to payment fraud detection and fraud management, taking ownership of deliverables through implementation, is essential for success.  He or she should be familiar with predictive models, and be prepared to adapt to an evolving business portfolio.  A strong understanding of payments processing is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop Subject Matter Expertise of the GBAM SAS Fraud Management implementation
Provide design and support for the fraud orchestration application
Understand the development, implementation, and use of predictive models and rules engines
Collaborate with business, operations, and product partners throughout every phase of the SDLC
Experience with APM tools
Ensure deliverables adhere to sound architectural best practices
Follow the Lean Agile software development process
Required skills:
Experience with Mule ESB workflow design and development
Experience with J2EE/Java development
Experience with fraud detection solutions
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Desired Skills:
SDLC experience within a large IT organization
Experience in financial services industry
Financial Payment System experience support and delivery
Familiarity with Agile methodology
Distributed technologies including infrastructure and integration software
Experience with SAS FMS software
Technical Skills (3-5 years):
Activiti BPM, Mule ESB, Linux, Oracle 12c
J2EE, JAVA, Hibernate, Spring
SAS FMS v4.2
J2EE and JAVA development
Oracle RDBMS; Exadata
Business Process Management (BPM) experience
Mulesoft ESB.
