Organization

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This organization focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, leveraging Cerner technologies and building a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business for Oracle, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence. We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience.

Oracle Cerner is a leading U.S. supplier of healthcare information technology solutions that optimize clinical and financial outcomes. The Acute Case Management development team creates healthcare solutions to help maintain an efficient work environment, monitor care process utilization appropriateness, and enable smooth care transitions. These solutions encompass both clinical and financial elements of patient care, as well as a range of technologies and culture of innovation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for engineers with experience in building and maintaining full stack applications.

You have experience with the development and low-level design of features and launching them into production. You work on most projects and tasks independently and extend technical guidance to junior members of the team. You are able to go from hands-on development, to low level design and documentation, to engaging in code reviews and mentorship, to prototyping, troubleshooting and defect corrections.

You are technically strong and get a lot done. You can balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements. Inherent with the role will be researching technologies, and staying current on trends and patterns. You make life easier for other developers and motivate your teams with your creative thinking and ability to automate and innovate.

As your solution knowledge grows, you will provide input on higher level technical design and requirements. In this role you will be part of a team that includes experienced engineering leaders that will provide guidance and professional development to further your career.
