Payfactors is looking for a Software Delivery Manager to join our Engineering team. The right individual for this role will be a motivated, energetic, and detail oriented leader who takes extreme pride in their work and has a proven track record in managing delivery and communication processes.
Manage the Software Delivery team
Responsible for effective communication between software delivery and stakeholders
Work closely with the product management team and software development leadership to drive delivery of new features in the platform and track key performance metrics
Model and coach best practices of Agile software development and delivery
Manage and mentor 6+ delivery team members
3+ years of experience managing the delivery of technology/software products, preferable in the SaaS or B2B model
2+ years of experience managing team members
History of quickly learning and gaining expertise in technology product domains
Expertise with decomposition of large complex Epics into smaller iterable User Stories and work-items for incremental delivery of value
Manage consistency of delivery via sprint planning based on team velocity
Manage delivery expectations of stakeholders and engineering team
Ability to understand complex engineering concepts
Collaborate with engineering team in the delineation of work scope, timing, size, and effort
Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams
Excellent understanding of agile software development in a SaaS model
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
BS degree preferred
Boston-area based - No sponsorship or relocation available at this time
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with Software Development in C# or other Object Oriented languages
Experience with tracking team deliverables via JIRA
Experience with Pendo is a plus
Experience in HR/Compensation domain
Certified SCRUM Product Owner (CSPO)
