EOIR Technologies, a Polaris Alpha Company, is looking for a candidate will work as a development automation engineer.
The candidate will have experience in the IT field and using PowerShell scripting to automate tasks in the configuration, application package building, log capture and similar software project tasks.
The candidate will act as a member of teams of 3 or 4 softwaredevelopers, engineers and testers. The candidate will interact with Government customers as well as representatives ofother software developmentcontractors.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required. Must have 3+ years of experience software development of applications, and development experience with Power shell in a Windows environment.
Experience using Visual Studio and C#
Experience with using the PowerCLI libraries for automating VMWARE, using PowerShell
Familiar with DSC (Desired state implementations) implementations
Familiar with Microsoft products.
Familiar with VMWARE products.
Four additional years of applicable experience may be substituted for the degree. Experience with Army software applications preferred but not required.
Must have strong knowledge in software systems design and sustainment across the full software development life cycle.
Must have strong communication skills and work well in a team.
This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.
