Assist in deploying an enterprise wide ITAM / Software Asset Management platform. Collects and manages SAM-related information from customers, and software manufacturers. Understands Product Use Rights, license allowances, and contractual entitlements for software products and manufacturers. Bulk load and update IT software license asset records, software maintenance agreements and associated relationships into the IT asset repository. Manage project with customers across the entire SAM life-cycle of. This includes producing and presenting intermediate, analytical, and final results and assuring projects are conducted and closed to the satisfaction of all parties. Ensure all changes to vendor agreements are accurately reflected in SAM. Create and update software counters for software titles and licenses and participate in SAM engagement and true-up. Provide expertise to ensure that software license records are linked to the correct hardware device. Other related duties.
Four year degree preferably in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Knowledge and experience with software asset management and volume licensing required. Experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must complete the Credit Union's Basic Module Program requirements within 24 months of hire date as a condition of employment. Job requires a substantial amount of lifting. Must be able to lift 5 pounds. Use hands and fingers to press keys on a computer keyboard to enter or retrieve information.
