Lands’ End is looking for a Social Media Senior Manager who is excited about the opportunity to manage the Lands’ End brand across a variety of social media platforms.

The Social Media Senior Manager will develop and execute social media strategies across multiple channels that ae integrated into business strategies and marketing campaigns.This is an important role within the Lands’ End Brand Marketing Team aimed at generating awareness, increasing customer engagement, growing social communities and achieving sales objectives.

Job Description

As the Social Media Senior Manager, you will partner with cross-functional teams to develop seasonal social media strategies while inserting your savvy paid and organic Social experience into the mix. You understand the role social media plays within a brand’s culture. Equally as important, you understand the role brands can play in order to drive deeper, more meaningful experiences for their customers within the rapidly evolving social space. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated history of developing meaningful growth and engagement strategies via multiple social media platforms.

You’ll oversee the Social Media team and ensure the quality and consistency of communication and project delivery is provided at all times. Act as an advocate and mentor to provide guidance throughout the organization on best practices for creating, managing, monitoring, and developing content for social networks.

Responsibilities:

  •  Create awareness of & engagement with the Lands' End brand via social network management
  • Manage a community of 6M+ on FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, G+, YouTube
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute paid and organic seasonal social media strategies
  • Develop an annual strategy for social influencers and lead authentic and impactful partnerships across social platforms
  • Partner collaboratively with Creative, PR, Customer Service, Legal and Employee Services to talk trends & develop content and promotional strategies
  • Analyze, revise and implement real-time spend decisions based upon platform efficiencies and their impact on engagement and sales goals
  • Oversee the development of the social media editorial calendar
  • Maintain a consistent voice across channels aligned with branding and target audience
  • Test new ways to integrate social media into landsend.com & lead projects to implement new technology
  • Identify & create programs and promotions aimed at growing communities and engagement
  • Monitor conversations across social media and address important mentions in real-time through engagement, escalation, or documentation
  • Manage social media budget, ad spend & report data to measure effectiveness of campaigns
  • Create social media reports and aggregate data into actionable insights to inform marketing
  • Generate insight into community performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Partner closely with Search Manager to incorporate SEO best practices across social platforms
  • Curate content from internal and external sources and share across appropriate social channels
  • Discover trending topics, community needs and interests of target audience across social media while adjusting content and messaging accordingly
  • Partner with internal and external creative partners to develop content
  • Educate and advise leadership as needed on social media best practices
  • Work with analytics team to create source codes to measure impact of paid social
  • Collaborate with external media agency to create and execute paid social programs, traffic creative, create source codes, report out on results and manage budget
  • Collaborate with direct response team and media agencies to gain insights on impact of paid social on organic and other paid channels
  • Manage social listening to report out on any insights and conversation trends happening within social media platforms
  • Create compelling reporting to show the success and opportunities to senior executives

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional level social media experience
  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Curalate, etc.)
  • A driving passion for social media, building community, interacting with various audiences
  • Current knowledge base of new consumer technology and media trends (I.e. SnapChat, Instagram, Messenger, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including copy writing for use on social media
  • Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated, energetic self-starter with strong problem solving, relationship building and leadership skills
  • Passion for digital marketing with a strong knowledge of platform capabilities
  • Must be comfortable working with ambiguity and change and able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Social Media, Public Relations (or related field)
  • Prior experience working in an agency environment is a plus
