Objective

The Social Media Program Manger positioned is instrumental to the overall strategy of Schneider Electric’s Global Social Media strategy and execution. This role will develop and lead the deployment of social media strategies across multiple platforms and geographies with a keen eye to measurement to ensure that the activities in place are having their desired effects on effect on Brand Awareness, our follower growth, engagement with our accounts and content and ultimately furthering the customer journey to owned platforms to drive lead generation. The Social Media manager will lead efforts that drive our Social Media 10x ambitions designed to grow and hone our programto cement ourselves as a best-in-class program across the world.

Responsibilities

· Management of Global Social Media Corporate Accounts on our main social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Youtube, Instagram, Pinterest, WeChat ..):

  • o Drive the creation of short-form social content as part of campaigns or individual activities to be deployed across the globe on Schneider Electric’s many social media channels
  • o Own and manage the content shared on all our global profiles, managing the different stakeholders across the business contributing to these content feeds and ensuring that all content received is compelling and actionable while remaining fully aligned to brand standards
  • o Approve content to be published in all corporate accounts and Coordinate social calendars from different sources (Global Marketing, BU's, Global Functions...)
  • o Manage conversations, interact with followers and answer questions after escalation to appropriate stakeholders if needed. Crisis management
  • o Identify Influencers and Partners, and build relationships with them through social media

o Track, analyze and report followership and posts performance, driving out insights and providing feedback to creators/business/global functions stakeholders

  • · Develop and Execute Social Media Plans for Global Marketing Campaigns and Activities

o Define social content and other social media activities, to be part of the External Communication Plan for key campaigns / activities

o Manage, align and deploy core team’s social media support to business and global marketing campaigns and activities as aligned to the overall goals of the business and social media program

o Support Field Marketing teams (Local Social Media Advocates) as they deploy global and local social media strategies, driving and supporting their success while ensuring adherence to global social media strategy and guidelines

  • o Serve as a key input and decision maker in all global event (internal and external) deployment across the company, aligning social media with business strategies to deliver the greatest level of impact aligned to the KPIs of our event strategy

· Social Excellence Program Management

o Oversee and maintain the social media content requirements and guidelines in alignment with Schneider Electric’s Brand Strategy

o Propose and define new platforms and strategies to be executed across new and emerging social media platforms aligned to Schneider Electric’s business goals and Brand Strategy

o Perform ongoing and adhoc analysis of social media activities to benchmark performance and drive net new activities across our social media landscape. Provide feedback to content creators and Local Social Media Advocates to drive a best-in-class program across the entirety of our social media presence.

o Define and update social content requirements, in alignment with Brand Strategy and considering social platforms requirements and evolution.

o Identify trends and insights to leverage Schneider Electric Social Media presence in new platforms. Keep up with relevant social media news, updates, tools, platforms, and best practices

o Support and animate the Social Media Publishers Community: Coordinating plans and calendars, organizing webinars for best practice sharing, knowledge sharing and guidance for improving reach, engagement and amplification in all channels.

Qualifications

Qualification and Knowledge required

  • · Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • · 3+ years experience in digital media /social media
  • Deep knowledge of social Media platforms and social media tools for publishing, engagement and listening (Sprinklr)
  • Desired knowledge of SEO practices, Google Analytics, Youtube Analytics ..
  • Understanding of organic and paid social activities
  • Project management experience will be a plus
