You’ll be working closely with our influencer, social media and PR agencies to identify and engage with key influencers, press and customer across our social channels. You will also be a key stakeholder in our product marketing, PR, corporate marketing and branding strategies. You are highly creative, brand and mission-driven with a solid understanding of community building, especially within travel, and social media engagement across multiple channels. You will also sharetraveler feedback internally across multiple teams, including but not limited to the executive, product marketing, hotels & events, traveler and supplier relations teams.

The ideal candidate is a creative powerhouse who is passionate about building and engaging with audiences and communities to drive brand awareness. You maintain a can-do attitude, and work effectively across teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the strategy, roadmap and success metrics for social media activities across the TripActions brand, products and programs that align to our goals and broader brand marketing initiatives
  • You are the social media advocate internally to our leadership and field teams
  • Plan, develop and set goals and expectations for all social media strategies, including employee advocacy, executive thought leadership social platforms and corporate TripActions channels
  • You help manage TripActions’ online reputation –– including across review sites and communities
  • You’ll create both an inbound and outbound engagement process, helping to field support and sales requests, identify target customers and press
  • Create a regular publishingschedule.
  • Maintain editorial calendar and work with agency to develop relevant, original, high-quality content in alignment with our content marketing strategy
  • Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content and participation (ie: employee training, recognition and rewards for participation)
  • Help launch social media management and analytics platforms
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years in social media marketing, PR, digital marketing and/or influencer campaigns
  • Strong passion for creative storytelling and bringing the brand to life through content
  • Strong project management and program management capabilities to launch, advocate for, social media
  • Knowledgeable about social media platforms, content strategies, digital savviness and creative
  • Marketing and communication skills a must
  • Strong copywriting and detail orientation necessary
  • Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of social media marketing efforts
  • Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help create a stronger brand and brand engagement
  • Experience in agency management and social media management software
  • Collaborative mindset. You thrive in cross-functional environments and have worked with leadership, product, sales and marketing to craft innovative campaigns
  • Self-starter with a penchant for experimentation. You’re always looking for ways to do your job better and you never wait to be told what to do. When you see an opportunity, you jump on it.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize
  • Bachelor’s degree
