Instagram's Partner (creator) Marketing team is seeking a full-time Social Media Manager to launch and manage a new Instagram account that will inspire, educate and empower content creators on Instagram. This role will collaborate closely with Creative Marketing to execute editorial content and lead community management for the account.
The ideal candidate is creative, forward-thinking, data-driven and highly attuned to the Instagram Creator landscape. This individual must have a passion for Instagram as a creative tool and empathy for Creators on the platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive short and long-term social media strategy including defining goals, KPIs, leading copy, messaging and production
  • Manage content development, publishing and community management
  • Partner closely with the brand and creative teams to drive a cohesive vision, and develop high-performing content that reflects brand positioning
  • Manage the day-to-day messaging, monitoring and moderation across surfaces: Stories, Feed, Inbox, IGTV
  • Translate social sentiment and engagement into strategic insights to help inform content strategy
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting and measurement on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with wider Partner Marketing team to identify and develop relationships with key influencers and platform partners
  • Oversee on-site social media strategies and execution at major events and conferences
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all business objectives, product launches as well as broader industry challenges and opportunities
  • Competitive monitoring with a focus on specific category trends and opportunities to optimize content
  • Manage paid social media campaigns for priority product launches
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to identify and develop relationships with key influencers and platform partners

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of social experience at a global brand
  • Experience managing the Instagram account strategy for a global brand
  • Organizational and project management experience
  • Experience managing an editorial content calendar
  • Leadership experience, with experience managing priorities across teams and building consensus across stakeholders
  • Experience with emerging creator and social trends
  • Experience with social media measurement and analytics tools
  • Experience managing response to public issues via social and a sense of judgement around corporate tone
