Purplebricks Social Media Manager

Excited by the opportunity to bring your social media know-how to an established global Real Estate company with ambitious expansion plans in California?

Purplebricks has a unique opportunity for an energetic, digitally savvy social media manager to join our agile marketing team and help us develop and build our brand in market — within an energetic, focused and customer-centric environment.

 

Main Objectives of the Role

Your role in helping develop our social media strategy, it's management and implementation will result in audience growth, engagement and continual customer referrals to purplebricks.com with the goal of converting new customers. You will be involved in daily campaign and content creation, project management and publishing of a weekly social calendar for all three main Purplebricks USA corporate platforms (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). You may also be in charge of managing and answering comments and referring communication collected on social media to appropriate company contacts as needed. Each day, you will work with an art director and copywriter to craft diverse and frequent posts / campaigning that are both on-brand and on-message for our company.

Applicants for this position should have:

 

  • B.A./B.S. in English, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • A strong background in, and keen understanding of, building brand awareness and developing brand comms.
  • A well-developed understanding of the changing social medialandscape and the constant alterations to media platforms that govern current social media marketing capabilities.
  • A willingness to pivot in response to changes in social media best practices and requirements.
  • Proficiency for storytelling in the digital-media realm, including copywriting and image selection / creation.
  • Experience with Google Analytics (monitoring SEO and web traffic metrics), MailChimp and posting tools such as Later and Linktree are a plus.
