Social Media (Activation) Manager
The primary responsibility will be to assist in the management and execution of the Social Media Influencer program. This includes but not limited to being the day-to-day liaison with social media partner(s) who have relationships with Influencers and Influencer networks. In addition to managing the agency relationship and assisting in the development and execution of the overall strategy, this role will also work with the Influencers/Agency to develop and implement live events.
This could include in-branch events with Huntington bankers and customers; this could include broader community level events; and it could include events targeted specifically to Huntington executives and internal stakeholders. This person also needs to understand and consider how this program fits with other Social programs and other marketing programs.
The goals of the Social Media Influencer Program in 2019 are to:
a) generate awareness and consideration for Huntington through educating and promoting products and services that Huntington has to help consumers improve their financial well-being;
b) create a new way to activate the brand locally, through events and influencer activities;
c) generate third-party content that can supplement our corporate content development program, increasing the credibility and variety of our content while greatly increasing our SEO results (search engine optimization).
The candidate will also be responsible for working with Compliance, Risk, and Legal partners to establish a process in which the guidelines for Influencer content creation, management, and monitoring are documented and followed to ensure for accurate representation of our brand.The Social Media Activation Manager will also be responsible for establishing, managing, creating, and sharing key metrics for each campaign to demonstrate positive impacts to brand awareness, switching preference, engagement, and related metrics based on the objectives of each campaign.
The selected individual will also be responsible for planning in person events featuring social media influencers, company executives, and Huntington colleagues and will also serve as the Social Media team's liaison on regional initiatives.Leading the company's efforts to create colleague brand ambassadors that are active promoters of Huntington in social media. This will require the recruitment, training, monitoring, and supporting of colleagues across our footprint that become brand advocates via social media.
The goals of the Colleague Social Media Brand Ambassadors program in 2019 is to:
a) create more volume and presence on social media regarding our local and community efforts;
b) engage Huntington colleagues in the process of promoting and celebrating our local commitments and actions.
c) organically share the richness of our internal culture through social mediachannels. The selected individual will also be responsible for working with Compliance, Risk, and Legal partners to establish a process in which the guidelines for the Colleague Social Media Brand Ambassadors program are documented and followed.The Social Media Activation Manager will also be responsible for establishing, managing, creating, and sharing key metrics for the program to demonstrate positive impacts to recruitment, employee engagement, and related metrics and will also partner closely with other members of the Social Media team focusing on but not limited to Social Selling, Social Care, Content Planning, and Listening.
The selected individual will need to have the ability to travel to local events across Huntington's branch network.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Marketing, or Ecommerce.
A minimum of 1 year of experience managing marketing agency relationships.
A minimum of 1 year of experience creating and presenting on new campaigns internally and externally with frontline colleagues and senior executives.
Possess stellar organizational and planning skills to execute a wide range of events and drive campaigns to seamless completion.Lead customers and non-customers in engaging dialogue in person and virtually to help with the creative content generation process and formulate a council member atmosphere with the selected influencers.
Experience with and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to conduct analysis by partnering with colleagues and conducting independent analysis to quantify the return on marketing investments.Flexibility to help with projects or initiatives outside of primary responsibilities.
