Landry’s has an open position for a Social Media Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in the Galleria area of Houston, TX. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media and the experience to put that passion to work in the following ways:
Requirements: Previous proven success with growing multiple online marketing campaigns with a demonstrated concentration in social media will be necessary to be successful. Knowledge of all social media platforms is a must with experience in search engine optimization, publishing, bid management and reporting capabilities. Strong customer service attitude and the ability to work with various departments to get questions answered for guests is required. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of Hootsuite, Sprinklr and experience in content publishing online. Restaurant and hospitality industry experience strongly preferred. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the corporate environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Journalism or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Professional personal presentation with cordial one-on-one presence. Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize workload, excel in research and creativity and have exceptional analytical skills. Must also have the ability to lead and work as an integral member of a team, as well as be able to work independently. Must be capable of taking on additional responsibilities and growth opportunities within the Marketing department. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals; listens carefully and understands various points of view; truly values people.
