The Social Media Lead will receive a generous total compensation package. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance. The Social Media Lead helps develop and implement the firm''s social media strategy. The Social Media Lead's responsibilities include formulating a comprehensive social media approach that is integrated with the firm's public relations and marketing endeavors, as well as supporting the development of the firm''s social media policies and governance. The Social Media Lead coordinates the firm''s presence within social media and stays abreast of best practices and trends in the digital communications and social media arena, while accomplishing these and other critical functions:

  • Leading strategic review of the firm's social media presence
  • Promoting social media tactics as a fundamental part of the PR/communications media mix; playing an integral role in the design and development of a comprehensive digital communications and social media strategy
  • Serving as the administrator of the firm's presence within core social media platforms
  • Supporting the design, development and maintenance of blogs
  • Leading development of internal social media training modules and works with PR colleagues to roll out an education and familiarization program
  • Overseeing monitoring of the firm's profile and presence within social media universe
  • Establishing key metrics to measure effectiveness of the firm's digital communications/social media program
  • Staying informed about social media developments, emerging technologies, communications best practices and trends in the social media field as well as the competitive landscape.

The Social Media Lead, is expected to apply their organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Social Media Lead must have excellent communication skills, creative writing and editing abilities, advanced knowledge of social media strategies, highly developed experience with online measurement platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc.), a Bachelor's degree in PR/Communications, Journalism or related field and six (6) years relevant experience working in the digital communications / social media field.
