The Social Intelligence Manager is responsible for managing social media reporting designed to provide cross-functional marketing teams with insights to drive improved strategies, tactics and messaging. This role oversees the social reporting strategy and works across an integrated social media landscape to enable the on-going optimization of organic and paid social media content through performance analysis. All duties are to be performed in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Oversee social reporting strategy and continuous optimization and monitoring of social industry benchmark KPI’s.
  • Utilize SaaS tools, such as Sprinklr and TrackMaven, to manage, build, maintain, and enhance reporting across social media channels and teams.
  • Manage SaaS partner relationships and new product enablement
  • Facilitates teams’ monthly and campaign reporting providing insights and clarifications as necessary.
  • Manages monthly and campaign reporting by ensuring all content is tagged accordingly.
  • Provides assistance with the setup of social listening queries and monitoring to report on adverse events.
  • Facilitate new hire training on reporting for Sprinklr and TrackMaven, as well as communicating any developments to the SaaS platforms’ reporting capabilities.
  • Participates in crisis communication and executes approved strategies.
  • Keeps up with the latest social media and digital creative trends.
  • Performs other job-related duties as requested.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related experience in area.
  • At least 5 years of internet marketing/analytics and distilling actionable insights with proven success (preferably within the travel industry).
  • Professional experience working within social media ecosystems including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
  • Experience in managing and working with social media tools and platforms including popular SaaS systems such as Sprinklr, Spredfast, TrackMaven, etc.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict in professional manner and provide solutions as a result.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask on different campaigns, projects and research.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (5-10%)
  • Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Experience successfully managing medium-large projects involving participation and coordination of several resources and departments.
  • Expertise reviewing and providing formal recommendations to mid-upper management.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to MGM Resorts International standards.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Experience in managing and working with social media tools and platforms including popular SaaS systems such as Sprinklr, Spredfast, TrackMaven, etc.
  • Experience within Hospitality, Entertainment, and/or Gaming industries
  • Bi-lingual, Spanish
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
