SoC/IC Security Architect

Business Unit Description

NXP’s Security & Connectivity business unit offers best-in-class security, contactless performance and the most complete solutions to produce unmatched mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

Job Summary:

• Creation of innovative and disruptive security solutions
• Specification / Design / Review of embedded security architectures
• Risk and threats analysis of security systems
• Root cause analysis of security defects and creation of counter measures

• Technical interface to customers and to the product development team
• Detailed attack modeling and security mechanism specification

• Advising and training the team on design, implementation and test of security mechanisms

Job Qualifications:

•Have a PhD/Master in Cryptography, Security, Software Engineering,
Electronics, Mathematics and at least 8 years experience
•Have very good experience in the design and development of Embedded Secure     Systems
•Very good knowledge of SoCs and/or Smartcard/Secure Element products
•Have knowledge of Hardware description languages (System Verilog, VHDL)

•Very good understanding of SoC/IC security (e.g. Secure Boot, Secure Debug, ARM Trustzone, etc)

•Have a strong security background

•Independent working style, but willingness to listen and to adapt

•Background on IoT products, infrastructure & protocols highly desirable  

•Very good communication skills

• Strong team player
• Willingness to travel
