Analog circuit and mixed-signal design in deep submicron processes
High-speed I/O SerDes Design
This engineer will design and drive to completion (through schematics to final layout) a large mixed-signal macro
Provide expertise in design, process and integration for advanced technology development.
5-10 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry doing analog mixed-signal circuit design
High-speed I/O SerDes TX/RX design knowledge. Also linear LDO voltage regulator design desirable
Good understanding of CDR, bandgaps, PLL and DLL techniques and circuits
Experience with advanced semiconductor technologies such as 16nm and 7nm preferable
Previous design work with FinFETs is preferred
Minimal understanding of Verilog RTL is preferred, as well as a general knowledge of the backend physical flow
Familiarity with all Design areas and tools, (Hspice, Spectre etc.) and solid understanding of design/technology interactions
Database query and statistical analysis skills strongly desired
Comprehension of basic digital circuits is preferred
Should understand and be able to debug Calibre DRC, EDRC and ERC issues
Strong understanding of analog mixed-signal layout techniques and circuit/layout interactions
Python and/or Perl programming very desirable. Also should be familiar with C++ / UNIX coding
Good understanding of computer organization/architecture.
Laboratory experience, including the use of equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details.
Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion.
Good teamwork and communications skills are mandatory
