Key Duties

  • Provide subject matter expertise in Marine Corps logistics processes, and procedures to government customers in support of the functional areas of GCSS-MC to include request management, maintenance, supply, financial, and system administration

  • Provide leadership to and management of a large and diverse team in support of the acquisition of major automated information systems

  • Provide functional analysis and support to the preparation and evaluation of change requests, technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings in support of acquisition of major automated information systems for logistics chain management

  • Provide supporting documentation for the Change Advisory Board and Change Control Board to assist the program management office with prioritization of change requests  and engineering change proposals

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Marine Corps maintenance and supply automated information systems

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge with Marine Corps supply, maintenance, and financial processes and portfolio management

  • Demonstrated general working knowledge of Marine Corps legacy applications such as Marine Corps Integrated Maintenance Management (MIMMS), Supported Activities Supply System (SASSY), Asset Tracking Logistics Automated System (ATLASS), Personal Computer Marine Corps Integrated Maintenance Management System (PCMIMMS), Storage Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System (STRATIS), and Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS)

  • Functional knowledge of or hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite (R11 or R12)

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on Marine Corps logistics chain management  automated information systems processes

  • Information TechnologyInfrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 certified

  • Oracle eBusiness Suite Certification(s) (R12preferred)

  • Experience with the Marine Corps’ logistics operational architecture and business process improvement methodologies

  • Practical work experience with Global Combat Support Systems – Marine Corps / Logistics Chain Management (GCSS-MC/LCM) Increment 1

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a large and diverse team

  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related scientific or technical discipline from an accredited college or university

    • 15years of Marine Corps experience in supply and maintenance operations and automated information systems may be substituted for the BA / BS degree
