Key Duties

  • Provide subject matter expertise in Marine Corps supply chain, retail, organization & maintenance activities, processes, and procedures to government customers in support of the acquisition of automated information systems that deliver logistics, supply chain, retail, organization & maintenance capabilities to the Marine Corps

  • Provide leadership to and management of a large and diverse team in support of the acquisition of major automated information systems

  • Provide support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings in support of acquisition of major automated information systems

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Marine Corps retail, organization and supply chain automated information systems

  • Functional knowledge of or hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite (R11 or R12) modules including item master and bill of material, inventory, order management, spares management, install base, Demantra, and advanced planning suite (experience in: Oracle Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, quality, warehouse management, Discoverer, and universal work queue)

  • Knowledge of and experience with operational views, systems views, and otherarchitecture products for the logistics enterprise architecture based on the supply chain operational reference (SCOR) model

  • Information TechnologyInfrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 certified

  • Oracle eBusiness Suite Certification(s) (R12preferred)

  • Experience with the Marine Corps’ logistics operational architecture and business process improvement methodologies

  • Practical work experience with Global Combat Support Systems – Marine Corps / Logistics Chain Management (GCSS-MC/LCM)

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a large and diverse team

  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related scientific or technical discipline from an accredited college or university

    • 15years of Marine Corps experience, in the Retail Supply (Supply Maintenance Unit (SMU) / Reparable Issue Point (RIP) and /or organizational Supply field activities may be substituted for the BA / BS degree
