We are looking to welcome a Site Reliability Engineer to our team of Consultants and Technical Specialists implementing RSI’s Revenue Premier® Integrated Tax Processor solution. All Revenue Premier® product offerings are built in an n-tier architecture using a hybrid of C# and Java components on SQL Server database.

In this role you will leverage your experience to:

Provide enterprise-wide application, database, network support in a mature enterprise environment, and cloud infrastructure design experience preferred
Create and manage system documentation, configuration, and backup procedures
Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software, and upgrades
Interact with stake holders to capture goals for new capabilities.
Participate in the concept design for new functionality
Support the testing and release of incremental software builds to deliver new capabilities to the customer.
Develop documentation as required to support the releases and final approval and acceptance of the software
Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure used by all of RSI Clients
Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack

Technologies supported in this high availability; 24/7 environment include:

SQL Server 2016 and onwards
Windows 2016
Azure DevOps
SSRS, SSIS, Power BI
TFS administration or any other source control
Integration and administration of third-party tools (EngageOne, OpenText, OnBase, and JAMS)
Understanding of System Security

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & COMPETENCIES:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field
Immediate authorization to work in the US
3-5 years of systems analysis and support experience
3-5 years of experience working with SQL Server databased administration performing backups and restores as well as query tuning
Strong analytical skills used to identify and resolve problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
