Mission

  • Advises and supports site management about HR policies and related topics
  • Ensures respect of Company HRprocesses and of legal obligations
  • Advises and supports site management on employment policy, employee competences and career paths.
  • Interacts with Country HR Director for employee and industrial relations, training and career development matters
  • Interfaces with local suppliers

HR development and training

  • Manages recruitment and headcount movement needed for site efficiency. Manages professional and managerial population (recruitment, career evolution)
  • Is in charge of newcomers’ onboarding
  • Coordinates HR management processes (annual appraisals, professional interview, Succession Planning, headcount and salary reviews)
  • Elaborates training plan and controls its implementation in compliance with legal requirements, optimizing budget and subsidies
  • Builds relationships with training suppliers and organizations in liaison with HR country lead
  • Ensures follow up and evolution of agreements related to manpower and qualification planning through Training Plan and HR Management tools
  • Works closely with country Talent Acquisition Center to staff openings

Production organization and Involvement of Personnel

  • Ensures that HR policies are applied within the site
  • Organizes production teams in collaboration with production managers and supervisors
  • Coordinates Improvement Suggestions, Problem Solving Group, daily and monthly meetings, in accordance with production principles
  • Develops employees’ motivation according to the Valeo 5 Axes Strategy and in line with HR principles
  • Pilots QRAP and QRQC of his/her HR department
  • Implements actions enabling operators’ flexibility and multi-skills, in collaboration with Site Plant Manager

Industrial relations and personnel administration

  • Represents site management at employee meetings
  • Prepares and participates and in Health and Safety Committee (led by Site Plant Manager)
  • Supervises activities such as payroll, personnel administration and external temporary staff. Interfaces with related suppliers
  • Controls content of employment contracts. Supervises tax declarations, as well as contributions and payments, within legal time limits.
  • Provides and analyses of HRreporting (KPI Indicators report, monthly dashboards, IP indicators, etc.)

Health, Safety and Environment

  • Ensures environmental management system procedures are applied in compliance with norms, legislations and standard defined by the Company
  • Participates in Safety and Environment Committee
  • Ensures Health Safety and working conditions are applied in the site, in collaboration with Health and Safety committee
  • Insures renewal of permits and licences regarding Site functioning
  • Follows safety and ergonomic indicators, controls implementation of actions required for risks prevention. External/Internal Communication
  • Implements the Internal Communication strategy defined by Company/Business Group/Country within the site
  • Undertakes, with the Site Plant Manager, internal communication actions to maintain social climate and to ensure a good understanding of the site strategy
  • Ensures, with the Site Plant Manager, relationships with local authorities (Town Hall, administrative institutions…..)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major or focus in Human Resources or Business
  • PHR/SPHR would be an asset
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Human Resources Manager role
  • Experience must include a minimum of 4-6 years as HRGeneralist
  • Strong knowledge of US labor laws
