Site Engagement Manager at Evelo Biosciences, Inc. in Cambridge, MA

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Site Engagement Manager who is interested in joining a highly dynamic and intellectually challenging team of drug discoverers and developers. The Site Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with investigators and clinical trial coordinators at clinical sites (i.e., academic medical centers, hospitals, independent sites and site networks). Through these relationships, the Site Engagement Manager partners with members of the Clinical team (i.e., Clinical Project Manager, Medical Lead, Feasibility Lead) and the CRO conducting the trial to ensure site activation occurs in a timely manner, appropriate resources are in place at study sites, enrollment strategies and tactics are in place to ensure enrollment plans and timelines are achieved. In addition, the Site Engagement Manager ensures issues/risks at sites are addressed in a compliant manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain relationships with study coordinators and investigators at clinical research sites
• In collaboration with the Clinical Study Manager, develop strategies for engaging sites and driving enrollment
• Work with members of the clinical study team and CRO to ensure study start up at the respective sites is achieved per plan
• Coordinate and collaborate with CRAs at CRO to address site issues and manage risks
• Identify barriers to recruitment and make recommendations to the site and study team to address barriers
• Identify new sites that can be leveraged for future clinical studies
• Maintain key performance metrics for sites

Experience:

• Registered Nurse or Bachelors degree in life sciences
• 5 + year’s clinical experience at a site or site management experience
• Well versed in clinical site operations
• Understanding of GCP
• Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment
• Experience working with CROs
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills
