The INVISTA Apparel & Advanced Textiles business (A&AT LLC) in La Porte, TX site is searching for an energetic leader for the role of Site Contract Manager. This role is ideal for someone interested in the challenge of building a contractor administration program from the ground up.
This role will be accountable for all aspects of the program from contractor selection through payment processes including managing the field performance of the resident and non-resident contractors.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
Ownership of all aspects of the Contract Administration Program
Liaison with the Procurement function for contractor selection and negotiations
Contractor selection to meet work requirements as well as site and corporate safety and workmanship standards
Contractor Safety Orientation Process and training;
Oversee contractor performance in the field including adherence to site EHS expectations, workmanship expectations, and contract compliance
Develop and oversee execution of the receipt of service process leading to efficient and appropriate payment of the contractors
Analysis of contractor performance with meaningful metrics and reports
Implement improvements in the contractor selection and processes to improve the value that the site realizes from this work
Integral part of the leadership of the site outages and turnarounds
What You Will Need:
BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Science;
5+years' experience in contractor oversight of field construction management or industrial maintenance; or 8+ years’ experience as a contract service provider responsible for meeting requirements of companies including negotiations, safety, service fulfillment, and compliance with contracts
Previous supervisory experience in industrial maintenance, project execution, or as a contractor service provider
Knowledge of the contracting process from origination to payment
Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of products
Strong knowledge of OSHA safe work requirements
Ability to interpret contracts and contract requirements
Familiarity with hazardous work requirement and certification requirements (Asbestos, Lead, etc.)
Leadership and communications skills including conflict resolution skills
What Will Put You Ahead?
10+ years’ of experience in a contractor oversight role;
Previous management experience (supervising supervisors) in industrial maintenance or as a contract service provider;
Experience as a contract administrator where you were responsible for all or parts of the contracting process from origination to payment;
Experience with relevant SAP transactions.
