Performs complete simulation project lifecycle duties from start to delivery. Includes requirements analysis, technical planning, design, system integration, verification and validation, evaluating alternatives for technical , cost , risk, supportability objectives for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
BS in engineering or associated discipline or equivalent +6 yrs related experience, or MS + 3 yrs experience.
DOD training simulation experience beneficial. Software understanding and installation experience of simulation based training devices is required.
Knowledge /experience with DOORs or other requirements software and processes is required.
Able to use MS office Products including: WORD, EXCEL, PP, VISIO, etc. DOD simulator experience and /or Navy experience / understanding helpful.
Travel can be required 25% of the time.
