Job Title-Signal Integrity Engineer
Location: Raleigh,NC

Job Discription:(Please Ignore if not good match)
The candidate will work in a team oriented, professional engineering environment to perform a variety of signal and power integrity work, including simulation-to-measurement correlation. This engineer will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and will be expected to execute independently once trained on tasks. Electrical model extraction and signal and power integrity simulations will constitute the majority of the tasks. This engineer must interface with a variety of board, package, and IC designers. Working effectively across organizational boundaries is essential as is the effective documentation and presentation of results. Responsibilities: * Perform various IO analyses, potentially from model extraction through simulation and reporting of conclusions. IO types include DDR memory interfaces and variety of serial interfaces. * Analyze and provide design guidance on power distributionnetworks for mobile product development and reference systems. * Perform high frequency measurements for correlation with simulations. * Create and deliver short, focused presentations. *Propose improvements for analysis methodologies.

Primary Skills:
•Solid understanding of electromagnetic theory & Transmission line theory
•Knowledgeable about basic signal and power integrity concepts
•Ansys HFSS or a similar 3D electromagnetic field solver
•Competency with one or more commercial SI or RF analysis tools
•Experience with SPICE transient simulation including use of IBIS models
•Experince in Power Integrity and Signal Integrity Simulations
•Experience with DDR and LPDDR design and analysis Experience with high speed serial IO design and analysis
•Experience with Ansys, Sigrity, Agilent, and MATLAB tools desirable
• Basic programming skills in Perl, C, C+, or similar languages
•Experience using spreadsheets and similar productivity tools
•scripting Experience with VNA or TDR based high frequency measurements Familiarity
•Experience with Mentor or Cadence board design tools

* Should be comfortable in working on multiple projects in parallel.
* Shall be adaptive to work with distributed teams
* Excellent oral and written communication skills

Educational Qualifications
MS/BS in ElectricalEngineering
