As part of the signal integrity team, the candidate will focus on the electrical design, modeling, testing and optimization of high speed board-to-board and board-to-cable products. The candidate is expected to support connector development programs in the areas of signal integrity for product and/or system design including: modeling, simulation, testing and circuit board layout. The candidate will be responsible for supporting programs from initial signal integrity analysis through prototype fabrication and testing. The position requires that the candidate regularly interface with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams to guide and assist with the design.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Candidate must have a BSEE or preferably an MSEE with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Individual must be highly motivated, a quick learner, and able to work independently.
A solid understanding of electrical circuit behavior and electromagnetic theory is required. Experience with signal integrity analysis and/or interconnect design highly recommended. Design experience with high-speed servers, switches, routers, storage, or similar systems is valuable. Application and test knowledge of high-speed devices and equalization techniques is a plus. Familiarity with printed circuit board design, fabrication and assembly is highly recommended.
