Kforce has a client seeking a Signal and Power Integrity Engineer in Tempe, Arizona (AZ). Key Tasks:

  • Responsible for electrical performance of IC probe cards and test equipment
  • Provides technical expertise and guidance to the project teams in the area of electrical performance
  • Designs, develops, implements and executes qualification tests to verify certain electrical aspects of electro-mechanical systems or sub-systems
  • Performs system-level Signal Integrity/Power Integrity analysis of probe cards
  • Coordinates with design engineering to improve electrical performance and simplify manufacturability across all products
  • Participates in project teams and all activities related to the development of new products
  • Provides technical support on electrical aspects to sales for bids and proposals
  • Prepares briefings and presentations for senior management, external customers, and/or industry workshops
  • Provides technical direction, serves as a point of contact or business liaison, prepares briefings for senior management and assists in problem resolution specific to the program/project


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required, MS in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience required, preferably in the semiconductor industry
  • Sound electrical design principles and methodologies with focus on signal integrity and power delivery, high speed digital design with lab testing, IC package and device modeling
  • 3D electromagnetic simulation experience to improve bandwidth, reduce crosstalk and ability to create spice models required; Proficiency with HFSS, SIwave, Maple, LabVIEW, and ADS, some level of CAD software experience (e.g., SolidWorks), and programming experience especially with Python, Visual Basic, and Perl is preferred
  • Knowledge of wafer level testing, PC board design & modeling, chip-package-pcb co-design and system level Hospice simulations
  • Experience in design, simulation, and analysis of electronic systems
  • Experience in providing engineering support and in establishing processes, guidelines, specifications, and documentation for electrical and electro-mechanical subsystem design
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical failure and recommend effective solutions
  • Ability to lead, resolve and drive issues. Customer focus - confidence and drive to provide alternative solutions
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships tactfully
  • Experience with ATE systems is beneficial
  • Ability to work in teams is extremely important and highly desired
  • Must be hands-on, meticulous and detailed, and possess good business acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
