GENERAL SUMMARY: Functions as Hospitalist serving as a primary acute care physician; primarily covers night shifts; assists the Director of Sibley Hospitalists to improve quality of care, resource utilization, and providing coverage for the patients on the Hospitalist Service and urgent problems arising in hospitalized patients.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  1. Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, have a DC Medical License, a Federal permit to dispense controlled medications (DEA), a DC controlled Substance License and current to BCLS/ACLS certifications required.
  2. Credentialed to be on the Medical Staff of Sibley Memorial Hospital.
