  • Identify and align on shopper insights in close collaboration with our shopper insights capabilities. This includes multicultural shoppers.
  • Determine strategies, positioning and plans to drive awareness, penetration and loyalty for the categories and our brands for Amazon/eCommerce working in partnership with internal media team, brand teams, and Amazon Media group.
  • Align plans, expectations and investments with the client brand-teams, eCommerce sales-team and Amazon.
  • Activate digital shopper marketing media and merchandising programs for Amazon
  • Focus is typically on brand initiatives/launches, multi-brand scale events and participation in Amazon programs.
  • Tactics typically include digital and social media, email marketing, eCommerce, ratings & reviews, and couponing.
  • Enable excellence of execution, leveraging internal and agency capabilities.
  • Analyze, report, and improve effectiveness and efficiencies (ROI) of investments.
  • Develop and improve relationships with key stakeholders at Amazon.
  • Digital shopper capability thought leader:
    • Continually identify knowledge gaps in constantly evolving eCommerce and digital shopper space, develop experimentation plans focused on highest value opportunities, and optimize and share knowledge back with customer and with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Transfers across the organization (specifically Shopper Marketers), which are user-friendly and found to be valuable
  • Competitive Landscape – Understanding of where industry / capability is heading
  • Jointly with eCommerce team lead, help share knowledge and build relationships with priority customers around client capabilities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 4 years of marketing experience on a consumer brand
  • Experience with digital media, social media, email marketing, search, data driven marketing (CRM), ratings & reviews, & ecommerce
  • Experience with promotions, coupons and advertising content development
  • Courage to conduct all affairs with integrity and strive for full compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to create short- and long-term value for consumers, shoppers, customers and company, ideally through P&L responsibilities.
  • Ability to operate like a principled entrepreneur, who takes initiative, applies economic thinking and good judgment, operates with a sense of urgency and takes responsibility.
  • Develop relationships with retail customer, internal brand teams and capabilities to understand their value, contributions and profitably anticipate their needs.
  • Ability to seek and use best knowledge in the areas of consumer and shopper insights, customer understanding, categories and brands, brand building, sales and finance.
  • Track record of envisioning what can be, develop sound strategies and plans, challenge the status quo and be a change- agent.
  • Act with humility and respect.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: 

  • Master's Degree
  • Shopper Marketingexperience at a consumer packaged goods company, retailer or agency
  • Current or previous responsibility for the profitability of your business (i.e. P&L responsibility)
