We need someone with solid experience managing or supervising a shift in a manufacturing setting.
Position Title Shift Supervisor - Manufacturing - 2nd Shift
Location Plymouth Wisconsin
Company looking for a shift supervisor. This is an opportunity to support a fast-paced manufacturing company.
There are 3 keys to success in this role:
? Manage Cost of Goods Sold - Ensure that items are high quality and meet
all requirements of customer specifications and packaging requirements at
? Performance Management - Manage the performance of the team creating
a high performance team and developing personnel for future roles within
? Drive Efficiency - Drive daily improvements in manufacturing efficiency.
Move the needle to reach goals of KPI's.
? Plans and coordinates the daily activities of the shift
? Provides coaching and mentoring to the associates on the shift
? Maintain a safe work environment for all associates
? Maintain quality compliance of product according to customer
? Manage the performance of the associates on your team through daily
coaching, monthly impact discussions, and quarterly reviews
? Drive efficiency improvements to meet the organization's KPI goals
? Facilitate the understanding of company policies
? Partner with HR create a positive work environment and culture
? Develop staffing plans for the shift
? Partner with Scheduling department to ensure that all customer needs are
met on time
? Develop training plans for associates to facilitate career growth
? Conducts accurate and thorough data collection and performance
?Payroll Approval and Vacation, and attendance management
?Responsible for all safety training and compliance
? Plex- an online ERP system designed to streamline processes and
information across the entire organization
? Google Docs

? Minimum of 2 yeardegree in supervisory/management.
? Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing based supervisory experience
leading multiple departments or an entire shift
? Demonstrated experience in driving efficiency improvements in operations
? Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience and implementation
? Proven leadership skills in motivating team members to perform at their
? Ability to analyze data and make timely decisions
? Personal brand of "get stuff done on time, as specified, with high quality"
? Highly accountable behavior with solid personal responsibility
? Ability to quickly understand and apply strategy
? Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through initiative, project
management and effective

Bottom line requirements we need notes on with candidate submittal:
