The Global Functions Technology Services (GFTS) organization develops enterprise wide custom applications support all business sectors of Citi .

Brief Job Description:

The GFTS WCM Team SharePoint Lead Designer reports to the GFTS Global Web Content Management Team Supervisor and is responsible for leading GFTS 's SharePoint solution design efforts. SharePoint Solution designs are restricted to above-the-API approaches and are not considered Application Development as defined in Citi Information Security Standard. This is accomplished through sole contributor solution design efforts, coaching and design reviews with or of others, SharePoint solution advocacy (informational briefings and demonstrations), and the management of GFTS' s SharePoint help, proofs of concept, SharePoint Sandbox, and Best Practices resources. The successful candidate will have excellent technical, and communication/presentation skills.


Qualifications


8 years hands on experience with SharePoint solution design and architecture experience. Desirable: similar custom application development experience on Microsoft SharePoint platform (e.g., c#, .Net, MS SQL Server, PowerShell, CAML, XSLT 1.2), HTML 5.0, JavaScript, jQuery, and Cascade Style Sheet 3.0.

8 years multi-disciplinary experience in SharePoint technology, administration and user engagement, coupled with the demonstrated ability to connect otherwise disparate facets in an ad hoc way to a particular toward addressing a challenge; without detailed oversight by senior team members. Must have the ability to receive sparse instructions, and apply experience, knowledge, intuition and additional new research to address the task with minimal oversight.

Technical Skills :

Five years with the MS Office stack (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)

5 years with MS InfoPath Development.

5years with SharePoint tools (SharePoint Designer, any Content Management tool)

8 years general web and graphics (HTML, HTML5, Javascript, SQL, CAML, CSS, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT)

10 years Software development life cycle (writes & evaluates UAT test scripts, debugging)

5 years with SharePoint farm administration and tools such as Central Administration and PowerShell

Analytical Skills :

5 years strong working knowledge of Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, wire diagrams, swim lane diagrams and workflow flow charts.

8 years proven ability to gather and analyze data, organize findings, build presentations and manage design schedules.

8 years developing, publishing, presenting and maintaining content for presentations, SharePoint/email distribution and web distribution.

5 years of experience with using Business Process Modeling (BPM) approaches to organizing and structuring SharePoint end user computing solutions in a collaborative business environment. Conversant in the Enterprise Architecture Framework and can recite the components of the framework from memory, defining each and giving an example.

Team player with excellent interpersonal and oral, writing skills, and ability to communicate effectively with multiple layers of management.
