We need an experienced front end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to solve problems at the Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA) by collaborating with a development team to build several SharePoint sites with user centric design. You’ll coordinate UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using SharePoint Online 365, JavaScript libraries, and HTML. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with developing OOTB and code-based solutions for SharePoint 2013, 2016, and SPO
• Experience with development in Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO) 365
• Experience with JavaScript libraries, including jQuery, REST API, SPServices, or JSOM and HTML for the development of SharePoint solutions
• Experience with applying multiple permission layers to a SharePoint site for internal and external users
• Experience with converting complex SharePoint Designer workflows to Power Automate workflows, including MS Flow
• Experience with CSS and master page configuration
• Experience with entire applications in Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams
• Ability to provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members
• Ability to translate business requirements into SharePoint requirements
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with MS Power Platform, including Power Apps, or Power BI
• Experience with the VA
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRs), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIs)
• Ability to work independently when designing, testing, or troubleshooting SharePoint and BI applications
• Public Trust clearance
• SharePoint 2013 Technologies, MCTS, MCSE, or MCSD certification
