This position will be responsible for leading the planning, design, development, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow implementations supporting United States (U.S.) Federal Government and Department of Defense (D0D) organizations. This work may be required to be completed at multiple client sites located within the Continental United States (CONUS). Individuals applying for this position will be required to develop technical solutions architectures to fulfill client requirements, and will serve as the technical lead for all ServiceNow configuration and development activities.

Duties:

  • Provide subject matter expertise, act as technical product advocate, design, develop and implement client requirements within the ServiceNow platform
  • Implement technology specific best practices and standards
  • Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solutions
  • Proposes data model, design changes to processes and products, exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of an assignment
  • Translates requirements into functional and technical requirements
  • Designs and develops extensions to Service Now data model in support of requirements
  • Reviews and refines designs for usability, reviews testing scenarios and refines test cases, to ensure applications quality and works with users to review test results to ensure they meet expected results
  • Supports and coordinates scheduling and execution of releases, product upgrades, new technology deployments
  • Evaluates new features and produce comprehensive analysis and recommendations. Performs and participates in product roadmap planning.
  • Produces and maintains detailed system documentation including system architectures, design specs, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, disaster recovery, technotes, and testing, etc.
  • Oversees the on-premise installation of ServiceNow systems ensuring adherence to client requirements to include applicable DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Responsible for mentoring and coaching technical team members
  • Works with project manager to ensure the project on-time, on-budget and within scope
  • Develops and maintains an in depth understanding of the supporting application architectures and the general application functionality provided by the solution being implemented
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of client and processes, standards, policies and tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five (5), or more, years of experience as a solutions architect of which includes time spent leading teams
  • Five (5), or more, years of programming JavaScript or other related technologies
  • Four (4), or more, years of experiencesupporting ServiceNow (System Architecture, System Administration, User Interface modification, etc..)
  • Two (2), or more, years of experiencesupporting U.S. Federal or DoD IT systems
  • Two (2) current ServiceNow Implementation certifications such as CSM Implementer, HR Implementer, ITOM Implementer, ITSM Implementer, PPM & FM Implementer, Security Implementer, or proven ability to obtain two certifications within 60 days of employment
  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or higher compliant certification, or proven ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
  • Experiencesupporting systems of which must obtain a system accreditation under theRisk Management Framework (RMF) or Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF)
  • Experiencesupporting system to system interfaces and integrations with ServiceNow from external systems via vendor provided integrations and custom web services
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
  • Ability to diagnose and remedy serious issues promptly and effectively
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and keep track of various deliverables and their respective deadlines
  • Experienceworking with and managing a geographically separated clients and teams
  • Practical experience with agile methodologies/tools

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Knowledge and experiencesupporting clients implementing processes based on frameworks such as IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO20000, and the DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework (DESMF)
  • Experiencesupporting ServiceNow IT Operation Management (ITOM) implementations
  • Experienceworking withMS Azure and AWS environments
  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent or 8years progressive work experience
