Job Description

As a member of McDonald’s Global Technology Services – Service Café Team, this individual will perform and apply Service Café (ServiceNow) Application Architecture services, for strategic and customer-driven initiatives. We need a collaborative and self-directed individual who, in partnership with other Architects and team members, will engage customers and stakeholders to clarify expectations, apply relevant standards and best-practices, and drive the delivery of Service Café (ServiceNow) solutions and services. The successful candidate knows how to balance a strong results-orientation with continuous improvement. This will be both a technical role within our Service Café tool (configuration, development, and architecture) and a collaborative role, necessitating strong interpersonal and influencing skills in addition to broad ITSM knowledge and Governance practices. Furthermore, this role will have responsibilities to foster innovation and develop proof of concept in a fast fail approach.


· Assist program governance and thought leadership for Service Café service delivery

· Provide status, mitigations to meet delivery dates and managed escalations from customers to Service Café Service Delivery Manager and Platform Executive

· Manage several projects to achieve value-based outcomes

· Assist with Service Café adoption, qualify demand and communicate pricing for Service Cafe

· Lead Service Café forums and meetings to improve customer engagements.

· Serve as a responsible party for the Service Café reference architecture

· Act as a point-of-collection for requirements from Restaurants, Markets and Corporate

· Key contributor to McDonald’s with ServiceNow architecture best practices and thought leadership

· Assist McDonald’s with a common set of best configuration processes within Service Café

· Assist McDonald’s with best practices for ITIL configurations with a strong emphasis on CMDB

· Contribute use cases for artificial intelligence, integrations and analytics that work with ServiceNow

· Regularly, review McDonald’s objectives, goals and business requirements, and align the Service Café architecture appropriately

· Assess development needs and processes against goals and objectives

· Assess the backlog of stories, providing recommendations for sequencing and prioritization

· Organize work by delivery partner, capabilities, initiatives, releases

· Determine utilization of new functions of ServiceNow major releases as early as McDonald business value can be realized

· Evaluate the architecture from a scalability perspective, and make recommendations as needed to ensure support for expansion and performance

· Document Platform and Partner assessments and recommendations

· Document approach for repeatable market onboarding

· Develop or configure, as needed, in the McDonald’s Service Café (ServiceNow) instance

· Lead the architecture and development of iPhone & Android applications, some development may be needed.

Minimum Requirements

· You have a four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

· You have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a senior-level developer

· You have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a Project Manager

· You have a minimum of 1+ years’ experience with ServiceNow

· Experience assisting or performing as a technical or solution architect

· Computer Programming with Java, Javascript, Angular Bootstrap, JQuery, Widgets, Perl

· Cloud-based, or SaaS Software coding

· Understanding of ITIL and ITSM

· Ability to work collaboratively in a face-paced environment

· Excellent written, verbal, and meeting facilitation skills

· Exposure to multiple areas of technology including Mulesoft, Rest API, SnapLogic, Perspectium, Numerfiy, Astound AI - preferred

· Computer Programming for Android & iPhone development - preferred
