Nebraska Medicine is seeking a ServiceNow Applications Engineer to join team, this role has the opportunity to work from home in a hybrid capacity. The ServiceNow Applications Engineer is involved in the administration of our ServiceNow Platform. This is a role for those that have 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow or a similar platform; individuals with ServiceNow certifications and/or knowledge in creating service catalog items and workflows are heavily preferred.

Duties: ServiceNow Applications Engineer

Responsible for designing data and interface solutions that maintain Asset Management or CMDB integrity and effectively support included ITSM processes (Incident Mgt., Change Mgt., Asset Mgt.). Develop and maintain applications and modules within ServiceNow including HAM, SAM, ITAM, ITOM and other integrations into Asset Management or CMDB modules.

Required Qualifications: ServiceNow Applications Engineer
• Minimum of five years of experience in an Information Technology focused role required.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience combined (One year of education equals one year of experience) required.
• Understanding of IT asset management (application, hardware, and software) required.
• Experience scripting and API usage required.
• Strong focus on customer experience and user-based success outcomes required.
• Expert analysis, trouble shooting, technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written required.

Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow Applications Engineer
• ServiceNow Administration certification preferred.
• Experience in managing data from other monitoring tools (e.g. SCCM, vCenter) preferred.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow CSDM, ServiceNow Software Asset Management and/or ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management preferred.
• Experience with automated discovery methods and tools to populate configuration items within the CMDB and/or Hardware Asset and Software Asset Management modules preferred.
• ITIL foundations v4 or higher level certification preferred.
