Services Sales Consultants have the responsibility for developing, evaluating, and providing pricing for the Service Business Unit. This role will involve selling services to new clients while creating and supporting a sales plan. Our most successful representatives possess a tenacious desire to win and have the intellectual ability to create tailored, cost effective solutions that positively impact both our client's and Mechdyne's bottom line. They are also responsible for ensuring revenue targets are achieved while maximizing client satisfaction. Travel will be frequent and flexible hours will be expected to be successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize the profitability of the client and Mechdyne by matching our technical and operational capability to meet the client's needs
  • Ability to work with a technology team to help identify and provide solutions
  • Responsible for driving proposal/quote preparation
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities
  • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
  • Follow company established marketing strategies
  • Identify and establish contact with prospective clients
  • Qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls
  • Determine client needs and develop a sales strategy for each account
  • Conduct thorough site surveys to support estimate development
  • Develop and maintain a proposal backlog that will insure meeting sales goals
  • Close sufficient sales to meet assigned sales goal
  • Submit all requiredreports in a timely manner

Qualification:

  • 2 or 4 yeardegree
  • Three to five years of successful end user B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in service sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales based on value, not price.
  • Excellent business sense, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Proactive, driven, independent but a strong team player
  • Strategic, thoughtful, inquisitive
  • Strong people skills - intuitive, empathetic, influential, persuasive
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to craft & deliver a compelling, succinct, and insightful presentation
  • Strong work ethic & high energy
  • Above average abilities with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Must be willing to travel 50% of the time
