Supporting District Office front-end-sales in the sales phase and to identify and win pursuits. Preferred locations are, but not limited to, Greenville, SC / Atlanta, GA / Houston, TX / Denver, CO.
Provide proposal support to the District Offices within the region for service sales in general.
Prepare proposals, with a full understanding of customer requirements, ABB technical abilities, competitor offerings and market conditions and by utilize relevant full cost models with approved margins to ensure profitability
Closely work with US4131 Operations, GTSC's and others for full cost understanding.
Provide first level technical support and guidance for District Offices
Provide MOMG Service expertise in customer interaction jointly with District Offices
Support District Offices to identify opportunities by analyzing targeted installed base and ensure penetration and interaction with end-users
Closely interact with Regional BU Sales Management and Service Sales Management to ensure strategy alignment
Minimized time to quote for greater hit rate
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering AND 3 years of manufacturing experience
*A Master's Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
*A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience
Bachelors' Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
10+ years motor experience
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Work well in a team environment
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
