Position based in Bethlehem, PA
The Service Director is a senior level leader within the organization and will report to the President. This position is in the route service industry.
Ensure the Service function maintains world-class customer satisfaction scores while ensuring the overall efficiency and profitability of the team’s operations.
Responsible for people management of the Route Service function (will include matrixed responsibility for remote service centers).
Responsible for the overall profit and loss (P&L) of the Service function. Sets key performance metrics to ensure targets are achieved.
Create and implement targeted hiring, onboarding, new hire training and staff performance management practices.
Coordinate performance goals for the Service function.
Balance the upselling/cross-selling of existing accounts with a commitment to customer service and retention.
Develop and implement policies and practices to ensure standard operating procedures and a consistent customer experience across the service area.
Degree in business or related field or the equivalent experience in progressively challenging roles.
MBA strongly preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Proven experience as a senior leader over a business-to-business, account management/customer service function in a complex, multi-site organization.
Ability to lead companywide initiatives through to the desired end result with limited direction.
Passion for talent, increasing employee capability and achieving business results through people development.
Excellent project management skills with a proven record of handling multiple projects and initiative.
Demonstrated excellence in communication, influencing, collaboration, negotiation, presentation, and proactive organizational skills.
Interest and passion in exploring new technologies and trends.
Creative thinker with demonstrated history of recommending and implementing innovative practices and solutions.
Agile approach to assignments/responsibilities, able to shift focus to meet varying needs of the organization.
